The DDDL CutOut Calculator is a support tool for Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link that facilitates data interpretation during cylinder cutout tests.

Main Features

• Power Balance Calculation: The program allows inputting the Pulse Width (PW) values for the injectors of each of the 6 cylinders.
• Comparison with Baseline: Includes a "Baseline" row to compare the performance of individual cylinders against the engine's normal or ideal operating state.
• Graphical Visualization: Converts numerical data into percentage bars (Graphics) to quickly identify which cylinder has a low or irregular power contribution.
• Operating Modes: Manual: Allows the technician to manually enter data if necessary.
• Screenshot Function: Includes a dedicated button to capture the screen, facilitating report generation for the client or archiving in the workshop.

This software is extremely useful for diagnosing misfires, faulty injectors, or compression problems. Instead of performing complex manual calculations to determine the percentage contribution of each cylinder, the calculator automates the process, allowing for quicker and more precise decision-making regarding which component needs repair or replacement.

Note: It is often used to extend the capabilities of older DDDL versions that did not have such intuitive power balance graphs.
